SabaiStart is a free, ultra-fast, privacy-focused personal browser start page built as a full Progressive Web App (PWA). Everything runs directly in your browser — without servers, without logins, without tracking.
All settings, widgets, backgrounds, templates, and bookmarks are stored securely in your Browser IndexedDB Database, ensuring that no data ever leaves your device. SabaiStart loads instantly, even offline, and is designed for users who want a clean, customizable, and private dashboard experience.

Inspired by beaches, temples, and Thai culture, these templates are perfect for travelers, expats, and long-stay visitors. More Thailand templates are already planned and will be added in future updates.
Widget creation
Creating your own widgets for SabaiStart is easy — even with only basic HTML5 knowledge. Because each widget runs entirely in your browser as a small, self-contained HTML page, you can quickly build simple tools, dashboards, or info panels.
There are thousands of free RSS feeds and over a hundred free APIs available online that can be integrated directly into your widget. A great place to discover public APIs for personal use is Public APIs
To help you get started even faster, we offer two ready-made widget templates that you can download, customize, and extend as you like. On the same download page, you will also find Thailand-themed templates and picture packs that you can use to personalize your SabaiStart experience even further.
Here’s how to set SabaiStart as your browser’s homepage
- Chrome: ⚙️ Settings → On Startup → Use current page
- Edge: ⚙️ Start, new tab → Set homepage
- Firefox: 🧩 Settings → Homepage → Custom URL
- Chrome Android: ⋮ → Settings → Homepage → Current Page
- Samsung Internet: ☰ → Settings → Homepage → Current Page
- Safari (iOS): Via bookmark or home screen icon
Important: SabaiStart uses a single local IndexedDB database inside your browser. For this reason, you should only open one SabaiStart tab at a time. Having multiple tabs open at once may cause settings or widgets to appear out of sync.
